Milliaire Winery-Murphys CA

This view of Milliaire Winery in Murphys, CA was painted from across the street. I did learn that this building is an old Flying A gas station. The history of this type of station is interesting and worth reading about here. I can imagine that this station in Murphys must have been a huge relief to those seeing it and needing gas and maybe food or assistance in a place that was hot and still somewhat remote.
